Bare Feet™ Web Series – The Crooked Road EP 1 “Friday Night Jamboree”
Mickela Mallozzi takes a journey along The Crooked Road , Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. Her first stop is Floyd, Virginia at the Floyd Country Store for its weekly Friday Night Jamboree. There she meets the “Friday Night Fixtures” and learns some clogging, flatfooting, two-stepping, and square dance while hearing some live old-time bluegrass music!
We were lucky enough to be at the Floyd Country Store the night you visited. Watching you and the “Regulars” was a rare treat. We are now busy forwarding your blog to many of our friends! We are big fans of the Friday Night Jamboree, but it is hard to get our friends from the flatlands to understand why we love it so much. Your blog entry fills a real gap. Thanks!
