Mickela A Grand Marshal of the Dance Parade New York

Mickela has been named one of this year's Grand Marshals for the 12th Annual Dance Parade New York, themed "The Cabaret of Life"!  Along with Mickela, this year's Grand Marshals include renowned choreographer Camille A. Brown, City Council Member Rafael L. Espinal Jr. who repealed the antiquated cabaret law in NYC, and legendary DJ Doc Martin.  Join Mickela and 10,000 dancers on Saturday, May 19th at 1pm as they dance down Broadway to Tompkins Square Park - for more information or to register your dance group, go to www.DanceParade.org.

Dance Parade New York is the world’s only parade to exclusively celebrate and showcase the diversity of dance. The parade commences at Broadway and 21st Street, travels south through Union Square, turns East onto 8th Street and continues into Tompkins Square Park in the East Village.
